This year our International College is set up as an open study project, aimed at students ages 13 through professionals, who will be assigned to the advanced or intermediate level class (max 30 students each) and will have the opportunity to study with international teachers and choreographers.

For about 10 students of the advanced course, there will be the opportunity to be chosen and placed in one of the two casts of international guests and to take part in the Gran Galà in Versiliana on June 29th:

a) Choreography of the Artistic Project by Miriam Barbosa with Pablo Atchugarry

b) Choreography by Bruno Pradet (Vilcanota Compagnie)

Here you will find exceptional international guests such as Sebastian Kloborg (choreographer of the Royal Danish Theater) and Maria Kotchetkova (Star of the San Francisco Ballet and the American Ballet Theater).

Students will perform their own classical and contemporary choreography (solos, duets, trios, groups), after auditioning, in the DAP Festival College Gran Galà at the Teatro Comunale di Pietrasanta, on a date to be announced.

Advanced course daily lessons take place from 8.30am to 1.00pm

Every afternoon, in Versiliana, those who are selected and included in the cast of Miriam Barbosa and Bruno Pradet will rehearse for the final Gran Galà in Versilia on Saturday, June 29th, with a general rehearsal on Friday, June 28th.

In each level, the first lesson is a theoretical one (music theory, drama class, etc.) or complementary discipline (gyrokinesis-pilates-yoga), which alternate in rotation throughout the two weeks. Following, is the classical ballet lesson with Fatima Cerqueira (Royal Danish School) and master accompanist, Kim Helveg (Royal Danish Theater). The last is contemporary, held by rotating international guests, according to the period of their stay during the Festival.

The duration of the dance classes is 90 minutes and the theoretical/complementary disciplines are 60 minutes.
